What is adult day care?

An adult day care is a long-term healthcare facility that offers medical and recreational services to individuals who are living with both short and long-term medical conditions. Day services include support for individuals who require assistance with activities of daily living. Adult day care programs are not only more cost effective than assisted living facilities and nursing homes, but also provide social interactions to prevent mental deterioration and isolation. Adult day care facilities are a growing source of long-term care that provide much-needed relief to full-time caregivers, while uplifting the lives of the elderly.

Who is eligible?

All individuals 18 and over who suffer from health illnesses or require assistance with daily activities are able to participate in the program. Common illnesses include (but are not limited to): Dementia and related disorders, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, cardiac conditions, hypertension, etc. Our services are fully covered for qualifying individuals under the Veterans Administration or the following Medicaid HMOs:

• Horizon NJ Health

• WellCare

• United Healthcare

• Aetna

• Amerigroup

What is the cost?
For those who qualify under Medicaid or the Veterans Administration,  our program is 100% free of charge. For those who do not qualify, we also accept private pay and evaluate long-term insurance policies. Contact our office today to have one of our staff members discuss your options.

Is transportation provided?

Yes. Our trained staff  provides free door-to-door transportation. Our fleet consists of luxury vans with wheelchair accessibility. Additionally, we offer transportation to and from doctor's appointments.

Are meals provided?

Yes. Nutritious, fresh meals are provided daily. Our registered dietician reviews each individual's chart to recommend special diets as necessary, and we are able to accommodate dietary challenges or restrictions. Culturally-sensitive menus are available year-round, and our staff is trained to assist with eating as well.

Will I have to change doctors?

No, we will communicate directly with your physician to gain comprehensive insight to your unique needs.
